When I was a kid, I loved basketball–but I was clueless about playing competitively. I grew up without a dad around, without any active male role model, and I lacked the toughness 80's coaches expected and required. So, I know what it's like to be cut. I know what it's like to ride a cold bus 50 minutes to a game and get a DNP-CD.

My struggles never killed the joy.

I kept working, and the game gave it back–a college career starting on NCAA and NJCAA tournament teams, over 1,000 points and 600 assists.

I'm now entering my fourth decade as a varsity coach, with a perspective and a heart for helping everyone in CMass get better–not just my program.  4D Hoop Vision exists to help players and programs get better.  

Today a lot of players have a whole crew in their corner already: AAU coaches, trainers, dads, brothers, uncles, high school coaches helping them grow the game they love. Those fortunate players can get better with 4D too.

But 4D is also for the kid who doesn't have all that; the one trying to figure it out -- alone, the way I did.
